Greg Cage’s life is more fulfilling than he ever could have imagined. He’s married to the love of his life, has an amazing son, and in a few short months, his family will grow again with the birth of his twin girls.

The past year has been a tough one for the Cage family, but they are now on the road to healing by learning to let go of the past and looking forward to their future.

When situations beyond his control threaten to take away so much of what Greg holds close to his heart, he has to learn that he doesn't always have the control he tries to maintain in their lives. Will he be able to handle the stress of knowing his wife and newborn daughters are beyond his protection?

Join the Cage family as they embark on yet another one of life’s journeys with a rambunctious four-year-old, pregnancy complications, and the fear of the unknown.

Will the love that Greg and Melissa share hold true as they fight to overcome the obstacles that face them?

Liezel’s Thoughts:

Everything is perfect in the Cage’s world. Greg and Melissa have started their family with their adopted son Cohen. Greg is just as dedicated to his wife as he was in the previous book. If it was any where near possible he becomes even more loving and affectionate when they find out that there was a baby Cage on the way.

Even far along into her pregnancy, Greg has no limits  at showing  her how  irresistible he thinks she is. Their intimacies seem just as electrifying as they were in the previous book. While there are many stories out there that involve pregnant heroines Harper Sloan pulls all the plugs and manages to deliver tons of  outrageously racy and unparalleled (preggy) sex.

Just as much as I felt affected with all things Gregory and Cohen Cage I felt just as heartbroken when Melissa went through all these unexpected “complications”. Through it all the entire team remained at their side, supporting them any way possible. Amongst them the person stood out the most  was Maddox  and good heavens I can not wait to read his story.

“…I tell you daily-many times- how much I love you. Knowing you’re my wife, that the perfect little boy asleep down the hall is my son because of you, and these little angels are a gift our love made…Those are the things you have given me that makes my life worth living.”

The best part of the book though was that beautiful Epilogue and that unexpected last chapter. Catching a glimpse into the  Cohen’s future was so deliciously heartwarming – I can’t wait to see where Harper Sloan’s goes with this.

For a novella I  thought it was just as fluid as  the full length novels which  I found quite impressive. It was  unbelievably packed with so much emotion that my “horn moans” (as Cohen would have said) got the best of me and had me crying like a baby a third into the third book.

There is just so much one can fit in a novella but this one certainly had it all.   I’m sure all Corps Security fans out there will be just as pleased as I was.

About Harper Sloan

Harper lives in small town Georgia just a short drive from her hometown of Peachtree City. She (and her 3 daughters) enjoy ruling the house they dubbed ‘Estrogen Ocean’, much to her husbands chagrin. Harper has a borderline unhealthy obsession with books; you can almost ALWAYS find her with her eReader attached. She enjoys bad reality TV and cheesy romantic flicks. Her favorite kind of hero–the super alpha kind!

Harper started using writing as a way to unwind when the house went to sleep at night; and with a house full of crazy it was the perfect way to just relax. It didn’t take long before a head full of very demanding alphas would stop at nothing to have their story told.
